I fold for the Alzheimer's that runs in my family. For my grandpa who died from it and for my dad who is slowly showing signs. And for me, because without a cure its only a matter of time.

My condolences for those who have lost someone the loved.

i dont really fold for anyone in particular really, im lucky having no one in my family affected by cancer as of yet.
i guess i fold because it is a great cause that can help many of people, and to all of those that have been affected by cancer or one of the other diseases you have my condolences.

I fold for my mum and her great uncle (who died of cancer of some sort) and my grandmother who has had breast cancer. My mother has breast cancer and is having radio right now as i type, its a horrible thing, My mum never cries, i mean like hardly ever, and that day she told us in december last year just blew my mind...

HOPEFULLY she doesn't have to have another load of chemo after this set of radio (3 weeks, 2 times a day) she is half way through.

EDIT: She has a very rare and aggressive form of breast cancer, Australia sees 6-8 cases a year... But shes had her operation and everything is looking better.

I fold for my dad who is suffering from Alzheimer's and just had a stroke this weekend. Might not be no hope for him soon but hopefully in the future that there be hope for our kids and the next generation.

I fold for my grandmother, who lived with my family for the past 9 years since we moved to VA Beach. She was the one who survived everything - orphanage, the Great Depression, the last god damn century, only to have her mind stolen from her.

I fold for my mom, who spent the last 5 years making my grandmother's last years better than they would have been anywhere else, while still raising my sister and me.

...and I fold for those times when I get to tell my roommates exactly why I am glad to pay the extra electricity bill :]
