I am only folding with my sig rig, and yet the Standford site says that I have 3 active processors. I checked Kakao stats and I am pulling a few lowbie scores of 384 points. Is it possible for anyone to fold under someone elses name. Weird!

You can only fold one rig under one name (tried to use two computers under my name and it wouldn't work) Edit: This info is not correct -T

So the only way that another person is folding with your name is if he folds every time you stop folding. So yes, it is possible to fold under your name just not at the same time.

Well I have folded with 3 different rigs with the same name, but I removed F@H from them. But I am still getting random points that I am not folding.

It is possible.

It just uses username, there is no authentication that happens from what I can tell.

And you can have multiple processors show up from just one rig (ie, I run 4 clients, each with a different machine number and therefore F@H sees 4 processors from that).

I thought there was some kind of passkey that kept this kind of thing from happening, but I don't really know much about it...there should be a section in Stanford's FAQ about it.

That is only if you request and set one up, otherwise, it's by username only. If it really bothers you that someone is doing this then by all means do a passkey, otherwise, it doesn't seem like it's that big of a deal.

I tried it before and it just added that there were 2 active computers..

no, you just have to use a different machine ID. I believe you are allowed up to 8 per user.
