I did notice a 5-6C jump in temps when I started using the 177.35s, they are certainly using more of the core. Some peoples tests are revealing that core and shader clocks have the biggest impact on performance, specifically shader clocks, some people are lowering the memory and core clocks to achieve higher shader clocks.

First you will want the 177.35 drivers, they are the best as I'm sure you've heard. They may have to be modded for them to work on the GTS 512, mine did anyway.

Then download the client HERE.

Thats pretty much it. Oh and when the config page comes up on the client, make sure to give it a name to track your stats by and team number 37726.

Can u host these magical modded drivers? I have tried to mod my own and have no such luck. BTW I can't get a single work unit to load now that I changed drivers....

ok so this will work with the 8x00 cards right?

it seems everyone is using an 8800....what is the diff, performance wise, between gt, gtx, gs...etc in folding?
