Well just tried the beta8 with the 174 drivers. I had tried the beta6 with both the 174 and 177 drivers and got the same thing.
Gonna try the 177 drivers with the modded inf file and see what happens with beta 8. Not sure what is up.

OK for some reason with 177 drivers and inf file added and fah gpu installed after reboot the fah starts on its own. Seems to be fine but I am not sure if I have the fah mon up and running correctly.
The cpu usage goes from 100% with the display up to about 12% with it minimized. Is this normal?

mine will max out 1 core if i have the display on, it locks up too if i leave it on.
use fahmon to keep an eye on progress just make sure its pointed at the f@hgpu2 folder not the work folder and you should be laughing. edit c:\user\xxxxxx\appdata\roaming\folding@home-gpu\

The display has issues and not only kills performance but may kill the client too so don't use it.

Well its working fine. Just cant get fahmon to work. Still submitted two WU's so far and allmost done with third. About 2.5hrs per 475point wu. Pretty good.
EDIT: Woot got fahmon working and it says 4456 ppd. Thanks for the guides and help everyone.

Whats up with this?
Newest GPU2 client on an 8800GT (stock for now) and my CPU load on a dual core system is 100% on both cores  I'm not using the console CPU ATM due to the full CPU load, just the GPU2, what gives? System AMD 939 4400.
