Default FahMon - I am so mad!!

Well hopefully I am the only IDIOT, but I just found something out and I really feel like a total....well, you know what.

On my sig rig I have had 2x SMP in VMware + 1 GPU2 client running. This is also where I run FahMon to monitor this and all my other machines. Well guess what, it was eating 22%-25% resources while running. So guess what happens when you turn it off?

Just to verify I moved FahMon to another machine (Laptop) and set everything up the exact same way. Just take a wild guess how much my average PPD increased.....2200. Yes thats right I was loosing 2200 PPD since I have been folding...

Hopefully everyone else is not making the same mistake I was, but if you were, now you know.

You know what else, I could have at least turned it off when I was away from my pc, but nooooooooo..... *sigh*. O well, lesson learned.

That is what I will be doing from now on. If I could have only seen this earlier and was not so anal about watching the percents tick away.

I have not tried reinstalling it. I did have the 'Auto Reload' set to 1 min. though. I wonder if that could cause it.

Yeah I have it set to 5 minutes, still I find it hard to believe that even at 1 minute intervals it would take so much resources.
