Default What can I expect ppd and what do you think?

Ok I have multiple rigs running and had a bunch of spare parts so I bought a few budget things to finish it up and run another folder. I intend to try gpu folding obviously on it. Be gentle remember this is my spare parts rig.

Intel Celeron D 360 3.46ghz(single core, 65nm, cedar mill)
MSI 650i sli board
Gskill 2x1gb HZ's
80GB Seagate Sata hdd
Antec Earthwatt 500W
Nvidia 8800GS
Dvd-rom ide
Apevia X-Cruiser

Questions:
1. What ppd do you think I can get from gpu folding on this rig?
2. With gpu folding will I get reduced points from the celeron, if so how far do you think I would need to oc to get it opened up?
3. What do you think of my spare parts rig?

3000ppd gpu only
I would just gpu fold, the celeron will probably already be at 100% assisting in gpu2,you can oc but it has to be very stable cause the gpu client is very sensitive to it.

Some people would love to have that as their only rig.I used to have that same cpu it's like the fastest celeron isn't it?

I'll see what I can do here.

(1) Your ppd is going to depend on the o/c. I would say about 4000 ppd. Here is the stats of the only other person that posted with a 8800GS.

CPU: e4300 @ 2.98
CARD: 8800 GS (702/900)
GPU DRIVER: 177.35
WU: 5004
FahmonPPD: 4702
OS: XP 32

(2) If your running your Celeron D at 3.4, you should be ok.(only testing will tell)

(3) I think that has the potential to be a very nice folding rig.

Keep us posted of your achievements, should be very interesting.
