1) how long does it take to complete one full WU with just a smp client on the CPU (rough guess for my rig)

2)where can i find a fahmon download, and can someone help me set it up if i need it?

I'd guess ~20 hours

2)where can i find a fahmon download, and can someone help me set it up if i need it?

Download from here. Once you open it, right click inside the white box and select add client. If you're using SMP, point to C:/Program Files/Folding@HomeSMPclientv5.91 (or similar, I forget the EXACT path). If you're using the GPU2 client, point it to Users/Namehere/AppData/Roaming/Folding@HomeGPU (or similar)

is it normal for it to not show any statistics on the right (core, project, etc) until one WU is completed?

EDIT: nvm, just had to reboot FAHmon and it came up

Gratz! Yes, it should show stats on the right when you select the client you want in FAHmon. If it doesn't (in the future), go to File > Download New Projects.

And be sure to say "No" to the IE settings and proxy questions when you set up any clients. 99% of WU transfer problems are because of that one setting.

if i have th smp client and gpu2 clien working at the same time, will they know each other are working and work on the same WU? or they work on different WU's?

They will work on different WUs. SMP and GPU have their own set of WUs.

can i play any game or do whatever while GPU2 and SMP are running?

Yes, gpu client is low priority. It should shut off when gaming. but you can always pause it.
