Default Blue screen?

I was running Firefox, Word, and two F@H programs (GPU with my Nvidia 8800GT + CUDA drivers; and the Windows SMP version with my Q6600). When I clicked somewhere on my worddoc page to write, I got the Blue Screen of Death: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blue_Screen_of_Death

Anyone had that happen to them? Could it be because the GPU F@H is a beta? Or is there really something wrong with my computer (haven't even had it for a year... never had any problems with it)?

I've been having exactly the same problems. I lost a 20 hour work unit because of it. It's probably as you said, because the GPU client is still in beta

It would help if you could catch the error message. That usually helps track down the root cause of a bsod. If it doesn't happen consistently/often, I wouldn't worry about it.

Okay, I'll pause it every once in a while to give it a break, and I'll cross my fingers. :P

Perhaps reducing the default CPU demand/priority to low on some of the clients will help relax the demand for other things when needed
