Yes its good news that HD seems to be something they really look into alongside Cancer Etc. Do remember that your friend may be lucky and he/she may not inherit the faulty gene. Its 50/50. However keep folding for sure

Hmmmm...thats a pitty. I think that ought to be changed for people like me with the idea of a multi GPU rig. I could really pump out the WU then but if F&H are going to limit me like that then I hope that changes in the future.

Huh?. Dude I think your post is a little beside the point. Yes there are other things in the world we need to look into such as starving childeren. However in this instance I am talking about Folding which is still another very good cause.

Dude I am appauled that you even mention that if we find a cure that it may not be profitable...Jeez. Its not about making money . Its about improving the Quality of life for all of us. No offence but its people with your mindset that keep screwing this planet up.

OK This may sound like a daft Question but i thought we all were already folding as 1 unit for overclock.net?
Maybe im missing something and misread the start of thread im not sure.
Also i made it into top 1ooo 2 days ago,WoOt.Now at around 95o Position and moving up quickly,Around 30-50 places a day but thatll soon stop when i get around top 5oo as points go up a lot then to get to next phrase.
Still when will i get my red cog for folding for overclockers?I still aint heared anything yet.
Then again sure the sites busy anyway and theyll get round to it.WoW you need at least 95oo to even get into top 1ooo.Was around 8ooo points a few days ago so i guess theres a lot folding.

Once you start showing in the top 1000 it may take a day or two "maybe more not sure" for it to be updated on OCN. Don't worry the red cog of hope will show up

I am trying to make as much sense as I can from your post. However we do not automatically fold for OCN. When you start folding you need to set the specific team you are folding for which in OCN's case is 37726. If you just fire up the folding application you will fold for a default team of 0 which is just the main team For stanford I think. However in summary not everyone who joins OCN will fold for us. Its an an optional thing you may partake in and fold for us as a team.

As for your red Cog it can take a little while to come up. I am sure you will get yours soon. If not you may wish to PM Taeric.

Yes you can indeed FOLD. It is possible in any location in the world. All you need is an Internet connection and a PC and the Folding application.

It's very possible! First you'll need to down load a SMP client here.

Then you need to add the team ID number which is 37726 once you get the program installed.

Unfortunately your video is not supported for GPU folding.
