This guide will show you how to install Fahmon on Windows XP and correctly configure it to monitor the GPU2 client. As far as I know this will work with both the ATI and nVidia GPU2 clients.
Download FahMon from here: http://www.fahmon.net/download.html Run the installer and install the client to wherever you like. I usually install it to C>Program Files>FahMon. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() After you've installed the client reboot your machine and go to start>Programs>FahMon-2.3.2b>Fahmon. ![]() Fahmon should pop up and look like this: ![]() Right click on the white space to the left and click "add new client". A small box will pop up and give you the option to name your client as well as locate it. I put HD2400_GPU2 because I'm folding on an HD2400 Pro with the GPU2 client. Next we need to locate the client so FahMon can correctly read its progress. Find your Folding@Home install, usually C:\Documents and Settings\(your username here)\Application Data\Folding@home-gpu, but mine was at C>Program Files>Folding@Home. ![]() Click OK and FahMon should display the progress of your client up top. ![]() Congratulations! You've just set up FahMon successfully. Please, leave any comments, questions or concerns in this thread. Thanks for reading! 9/1/2008: Fixed FahMon screens, edited grammar mistakes 12/29/2008: Added different GPU directory to point to

Hey Roke, great job once again. Can you make a slight change? Can you shrink Fahmon so it's not so big, a regular size window would be great. Would that be possible?

Going Broke Overclocking

Don't have Vista but I believe the set up is a bit different in Vista compared to this Post using XP.

You are correct. Vista is different. You have to point fahmon in a different folder. User/Apptdata/Roaming/folding@home gpu
