Default Would upgrading to a Gtx260 be worth it?

Alright so im thinking of upgrading my 8800gt to one of these. GTX260 Its an open box MSI card for 209.99. Im currently getting 5.6k ppd from my 8800gt.
Is it worth it? Opinions or thoughts?

E8400 Q811A @ 4.005Ghz and now a Q6600 @ 3.6

I get about 6,200 PPD on my GTX 260.

Nah the GTX cards are nice but for folding they definately aren't worth the added cost.

Pretty much. But a 260 would give you one heck of a boost compared to that 8800GT in games.

Yes it would. I am folding with 2x GTX280's (even though they weren't worth the cost LOL) and it does scream while gaming.

yeah folding you run them as seperate cards. so you wont need sli or cf. and he said "it", meaning hes running a single card while gaming

GTX260 is good but not a good upgrade. Only if you are getting 2 in SLI then they will perform better.

I wondered if anyone would catch that

I plan on getting an SLI mobo in the near future with which I'll be able to use both while gaming..
