Default F@h - l@h

Ive been into folding ever since I downloaded it for the PS3. I logged onto the PS3 folding today to find out that they now have Life at Home.

Its basically a new folding at home interface.

Anyway, first question is. If your using the Life at Home channel, are you still folding or do you have to be in the F@H channel too fold.

Secondly, is there anyway to get the PS3 version of F@H on a PC.
I love the earth thing with the music etc and I HATE the PC version with the crap DNA strings.

If I could get the PS3 version on PC that would be immense

Why would you post in this section?

And no, it's not for the PC, only PS3.

And yes, you do need to be in the folding channel.

There were no other forums to post in. It just had the two subforums and the page footer... seems to be forums showing now though

Sucks, why does the PS3 client have to be so much better than the PC.

Mods, please move this topic to the right place

It's definitely a visually stimulating experience. I like the startup song it has :P But the music selector is cool too. I actually turn it on when I go to sleep with the volume up a bit. The little spots of light are cool to see where people are folding. It would be nice if they had a screensave of some sort for the PC, but not as dated as the old console version.

Sony did good things with that client. I think if work was done to decrease the complexity of the apps, and make them more user friendly (like the PS3), people would be more apt to jump into it. Alot of people run away when they see a Command Prompt screen. Sure, forums like this that's an everyday occurence, but not for your casual web surfer.

End tangent. Fold on!
