Default NVIDIA GPU folding keeps on failing
I've tried both the console and graphical NVIDIA GPU folding and I still get the 0/0 WUs. UNSTABLE_MACHINE? I have already tried to fold with my entire system at stock speed. Even my underclock settings receive the same message.

It's been a couple of months since I last folded with the GPU client. I remember users having this issue, but I am not sure what the fix was.

Any ideas?

I had that with a conservative OC on an 8800GT, I droped the shaders about 20 and it want away...

try the drivers from here: http://www.laptopvideo2go.com/drivers
make sure you grab the modded .inf file.

i changed drivers earlier today and got that error, reinstalled with modded .inf and it was fine.

A totally new written .inf, or is it just a fresh file download?

Yes, this is with my sig rig. Please ignore the underclocked Q6600 in my sig. I have already tried using different settings.

I'm using driver 169.06. Should I grab the 180.70?

I use 177.35 with modded .inf

Thats what Mr. Gibson recommends too.

just drop the .inf into your unzipped driver folder before you install. then run the setup. it replaces one of the files already there.

177.35's are the best one's i've used (gibson loves them )

but i'm trying 180.48 just to test.
