The 9600gso with 96sp are the best bang for the buck. 48sp version is most likely no good, and as it is same price as 96sp version the 9800gt is best choice if 96sp gso is not available.

yeah, its just a B**** to get XP to install too, which is the only spare windows OS I have around, unless I want to try windows 7 on it for a month or w/e, but I think it'll just have more issues then its worth.

UPDATE: pictures of this beast being assembled still need an after market cooler for the CPU, may need a SATA HDD if the USB drive doesn't work, still need to swap procs between main rig and the one for this rig... put the G0 in my main rig under water see how high it'll clock for me

laziness is preventing me from wanting to tear apart my current rig and swap the CPUs... also I still hae no aftermarket CPU cooler for the rig, which is a pain aswell...
