put my new card in to get some folding done but will not start help here is the output

Usually means that you card is not stable. I would turn down the clocks until you get a wu to work. Also which drivers?

i also have problems folding with f@h 6.23 and 8.12 drivers

i think its the drivers problem, f@h worked perfectly until i upgraded drivers

what do you have the clocks set at I found for my sapphire 4870 1GB the max for folding was 840core 1000mem

Mine will not fold at default clocks for nothing. I have to overclock my cards for the to fold without error. I have no idea why, but hey whatever works.
