I followed youf guide but it still won't work on a GTX295. One core will but the other says "At present your GPU is not supported...". I thought this problem might have been because no monitor is connected, but it is now and still the same message :s.

I started labeling them at 0 if this makes any difference. i.e. -gpu 0, -gpu 1 etc

That message only comes up when you don't have the proper drivers...At least on my rigs that's true...

I would re-install the newest CUDA drivers...

you could try dl'ing the folder at the top or bottom of the post and give those a shot?

just to make sure, you're using the systray and not console correct? and you were right at the labeling.. you're supposed to start at 0.

it sounds kind of like a driver issue? did you do a clean install of drivers after installation?

I downloaded the folder at the bottom of the OP. Same problem I did do a clean install, i'm about to do another just to make sure though.

I would try using an HDMI instead of the VGA for the 295, I couldn't extend the monitor on one of the 295 gpus until I used an HDMI out to my TV. I can unplug the hdmi & put it back on the playstation once I'm up & it keeps on folding.

Hehe, i would try that but the only HDMI device i have is downstairs :s. I'll just fold on 1 core, besides i shouldn't have these 2 295s in a week or so if all goes well

i agree that the 295 is a real odd ball.... like for example.. client 1 would need to be oc'd on gpu2 and client 2 on gpu1...

for me, in order to use both cores... i actually had to use both hdmi and dvi ports.
