I've been Folding 24/7 for a little over two-weeks, and I've only been able to amass 20 WU's and 8600 points. Is this the best I can accomplish with my computer, or have I done something wrong in the setup process? I was using the Windows CPU client exclusively until yesterday, then I downloaded the GPU2 client...but after 24-hours its only on 700/10000. Could it be my slow-ass internet connection?

With the 8600GTS, that looks about right, but with your Quad, somethings wrong...

Your Q6600 should be able to put out at least 1500-2000 ppd per client, and more if you're running VMware SMP...

Are you sure you're running the SMP client for your CPU?

That is not right. The Quad should be getting about 3,500-4,000 pdd and the 8600 3,500ish.

You should be close to 7,000 points a day, not every 2 weeks.

Yeah, usually its caused by an unstable overclock of some sort... try backing down your clock speeds, and see if you still get that error...

It may also be related to driver issues, what version driver are you using right now?

That's about right. Even the 8800GS only pulls around 2500 ppd on 511WU's at stock
