Well, you are somewhat of a celebrity, regardless of who you fold for.

I'm excited to hear what you have brewing. It is always fun to see people do things new and exciting. Good luck and be sure to post back here so we can see too.

Thanks for the great folding you do.

This goes without saying but

Default Teams

Of course for OCN!! Here are my priorities:

1) Folding for the cause...JUST AWESOME and I am happy to put countless hours in setup and maintaining folding to help find a cure that will help so many.

2) I still have a PIII for a desktop at home....with 3 kids under 4 years old....I have no money, so to get an offer like OCN is giving so I can get a descent Puter at home to fold on.... Heck YA!

3) Then there is EVGA, yes I gave them over 26 Mill in points....I was hoping to win some hardware but I havent yet.... I am hoping this doesnt make me a golddigger....but it would really be nice to get away from a 1GHZ desktop! Do I feel bad for jumping ship? well not really, as the main purpose of Folding is (priority 1)

4) Perhaps I can run a little for EVGA at the same time....would that be a conflict of interest? I am new to folding so I dont want to break any rules...??
Any thoughts on this last one anybody?

Of course all of this is assuming OCN wants me on your team???

Of course man!

I'd be the first to put down the "Welcome!" mat for you.

We just don't want you to "Fold and Run" as Admin put it. How long you stay (after the contest) is up for interpretation. We would love for you to stay. But then again, you can fold for 2 teams simultaneously...

Now that would be awesome. We'd love to have you!

Despite what some people may say, I don't think you are a "gold digger" at all. I can understand if you are on a 1GHz computer and you want something more.

If you win, just make sure you put the computer you may buy towards folding...for OCN.

I agree, I think that folding for OCN for a while afterward would be courtesy but it is quite understandable that you would want to share some of the folding points with EVGA after the time you've spent there.

But it would be great if you would hang around, help out new folders, etc. Maybe even let OCN here pick out your new computer components (with your guidance of course).

Make no mistake.... I plan on being here a long time... I was just thinking I would leave one rig folding for Evga. I have to say I am really pleased with the welcome I have received here so far. I am for sure not here to collect a prize and take off right afterwards, however my ppd will lower and rise as my units get placed over time....etc..

That is the great thing about us all working for the same cause....no matter what we do, or what team we are on ultimately we are all one team working together!

I would be totally up for recommendations on components, I was able to trade for a Asus P5E3 MB, but that is all I have at this point.

Laters.
