No its still not reading correctly...I like FAHMON but right now Its nothing to me but bloatware lol.

Just wont read properly. Says im 2% done still on my last WU....

Try right-clicking the WU in FAHMon and clicking 'reload client'. All it does it read the log file in the directory. Are you sure you're pointing to the directory with the log file in it?

I've made the mistake before of attaching FAHmon to the folder where the .exe I'm running is at, rather than the directory where 'fahlog.txt' is at, which is usually in Program Files\Folding...

Yeah 25TDP is great.

Ok well Im uninstalling everything and starting again because I have reset the logs and all sorts....yet FAHMON is still playing stupid with me. I may try Folding Spy as previously suggested.

is there much difference in the power consumption of different mobo chipsets? there's lots of info on cpus & gpus, but not much on that.

i don't want to spoil the party or anything, but i don't think you should be concerned about your "carbon footprint" or "carbon emissions" at all. Global Warming isn't caused by humans so you're wasting your time trying to prevent something that
1: we haven't caused and
2: is out of our control

global warming is nothing to be concerned about. it's happened literally millions of times (hundreds-thousands in extreme cases ie ice ages) without any adverse or obviously irreversible effects.

if anyone wants some proof or documentation, i can gladly provide
