Mention away dude.

The only issue I had with the Nvidia cards was there TDP was just that bit higher than the ATI counterparts.

Cheers for the cookie !

I live in oregon, so solar panels wouldnt do much here (constant clouds/rain). I'll be moving to florida in the next year though and have been considering them. I keep reading how they're improving in efficacy & getting cheaper; compared to where they were even 5 years ago they're a bargain. Europe is even talking about a joint effort to put a giant solar farm in the Sahara. And Dr. Michio Kaku (one of the worlds foremost futurists) has said that if we ever hit the magic 80% efficacy number, it could meet all of the worlds energy demands. Finding the right molecules to capture that broad of the spectrum is a herculean task though.

on topic though, how efficient are pico-PSUs? i've read a little bit about them but most of it has been about home made versions. It seems like if you could use a 25W GPU on a micro ATX/DTX board and a mobile CPU using a Pico-PSU you could have a folding system that used less power than an average light bulb. I wonder what kind of PPU/watt that would have.
