lester as stated I'd suggest removing the plastic cover from it, maybe an investment in a can of compressed air might clear things up, built up dust in open cases is a common problem and can lead to restricted air flow, and heat issues over time.

Just looked at temperatures of all of my cards.
The 3 9800GX2 ALL run at 100C or very close to it.

I even have 2 out of 4 9800GT running at 105C. Those 4 cards are in the same system. But with a 120mm fan blowing towards it.

what are the ambient temperatures like? and do you still have the 9800GX2s in the plastic shells? are they overclocked?

ambient temperature is about 78F.
In plastic shell. Stock clock.
I don't have time these few days to take it apart.Will do when I have the chance.
So far the cards are running without any problems, just alarming high temperatures.

well they're hot cards, and when packed tightly and such the airflows get restricted and the heat builds, but taking the shells off helps, good luck, and fold on

you could put a high cfm 120mm fan on top of the cards
