Help real quick,
I need to know what client is best to use for a Q6600 on vista 32...
does anyone have a link to the guide...im trying to get a buddy set up and forget how to CPU fold lol.

SMP will work best. There should be a guide on Stanford's high performance client page.

I thought the VMware would put out the best PPD???
also if he uses 2 SMP clients for his quad what does he need to set to make it on different cores?

He posted for me. Can anyone perhaps link me to the best program for my Q6600? I am running 2 instances of the program currently and my processors are only at about 60% each :\.

Use two SMP console clients. Set the Affinity to the proper cores for each, and put the Priority to Normal.

can you break it down into noob talk for us....? How do we set affinity? I forget where you do that....is it in the folder propertys you type something?
EDIT...he got that set but only with one client...he is having problems getting 2 clients to install...it keeps asking if he wants to delete or repair...

You go into Task Manager, and choose the proper Folding core app, and right click and set the affinity.
You can also use SetAffinity, as well as SetPriority. They're both free applications to download.

He got that part but only on one client...he is having problems installing it twice...it asks him if he wants to delete or repair the install....
