Default ATI 9.4 drivers give more ppd over 9.3

info on WU:
Core: GPUv2 Gromacs
Project: 5745 (R2, C23, G177)
Credit: 384 points

running on:
Intel C2Q 2.33GHZ overclocked to 2.52GHZ
Radeon 4670 at stock speeds

Catalyst 9.3: 1394 ppd
Catalyst 9.4: 1423 1436 ppd

that's around a 2 3% increase in PPD. Not much to boast about, but a boost nonetheless.

UPDATE: Getting 1436 ppd now.

i think my ppd went down because of 1.24 gpu2 client for ati. but that is great news for you, only if it were higher.

Its most likely that your ppd did go down since they added an extra phase, loop, math check... Whatever you want to call it, for better accuracy/science.

The big thing with core 11 /1.24, is that it is possible to get your client to work the gpu at 100% with only 2-5% cpu usage allowing people to get more ppd via SMP clients and such.
