Since many of us can't afford the electricity bills that come with folding 24/7, this is a designated time when everyone can fold and make their contributions felt in a big way.

Prizes
Winners will be drawn at random from all those who post in the sign up thread. Even if you complete just one work unit, you'll still be entered to win. Each item on the list represents one drawing for one winner. In August there will be an extra section with significantly more valuable prizes, and only those who have signed up and folded in the three foldathons previous will be elegible for those extra "quarterly" prizes.

May's Foldathon was an even bigger success than I could've imagined with 152 people signing up and over 5 million points between the two days. Let's try and beat that this month and get 200 people signed up and 8 million points!
