EVGA is giving away free Vatage keys and a 9800GX2 video card. That would be my guess as to why they spiked like that.

EDIT: NVM PNY is the company giving away the vantage keys & 9800GX2 card(s).

Update:
I'll be instituting a new prize system starting next month.
I will start out by listing one prize, then I will list another for every 50 people that sign up. (one for 1-39, two for 49-99, etc) The more people that sign up, the more prizes there will be

If we meet the monthly goal for points (8 million this month), I will add yet another prize as well. This bonus prize ststem will be in effect this month as well
