I have lost multiple family members to cancer, and i am not even that old yet. But i can see what you're going through, and best of wishes out to you. I will continues to fold for the future and in memory of the lost.

Somewhere out there, someones mother has cervical cancer. Someones dad has a failing kidney, a brother with leukemia, a grandmother with an enlarging tumor. And that's why I fold 24/7. Because I have family members who have literally lost limbs and lives to cancer. It's a horrific way to die. I would not wish it upon anyone.

I have had a few family members lose their life to cancer,I cant run the F@H program on my mac (it makes it too hot..its odd)

I'll have another rig up and running by next week an I'll put its PPD towards helping the cause so no-one has to go through the pain of losing a loved one to cancer.Best of luck to you and your family

My grandma died from cancer too. I fold for anyone who currently struggles with cancer and to find a cure for those who may get it. Sorry to hear about your mother I hope she gets better.
You can find out how to fold here. I would recommend folding on your GTX 260 because it will give you the most PPD. To learn how to fold on your gpu scroll down to the guide labeled "The GPU Clients" in the link I gave you.

Stay strong during hard times, one thing i try to constantly remind myself is what doesn't kill us makes us stronger. I hope you take those words into consideration. For now might be a time of grief but in the future you'll learn a lesson from this. Whether it to live everyday by the moment or to love those around you unconditionally.

Its times like this where we cherish the good we have.

I try not to post in these types of threads, because I honestly have no idea the pain you must be suffering at this point in time, but I always figured since I have my computers on 24/7, might as well make them do something for a great cause and for stories like this. I'll fold on till I have no more power, money or till the day the world ends.
