Default I Suck @ Folding!

Okay, I've been folding for two days and I've only completed two WU's of 500 each...for a grand total of 1080 points. Now I'm seeing people that are getting 6k PPD, how are they doing this? I'm assuming I haven't setup something up correctly because when I check how much of my GPU is being used, it says 0%.
I downloaded the top choice from this page, and installed it...and started folding. Did I install the wrong one? I've went through all the options with the program, but to be honest with you, I have no clue what I'm looking at.

Could someone explain this to me at a 2nd grade level? Cuz I'm not getting it...OBVIOUSLY!

Or does my rig just suck that bad for folding?

Thanks in advance!

You downloaded the CPU client
500ppd, and its only using 1 core

for GPU you need
http://folding.stanford.edu/English/DownloadWinOther

But only expect ~3k ppd out of the 4890s (at least thats how mine do)

for the SMP client(o use all of your 920's cores you have to download it and put -smp)

Let me know when you get the GPU client installed.

Yeah, the single core CPU client will tax only one core and won't result in a lot of points. It's convenient for running on slow machines, machines you can't get to or power on often, or machines you only run occasionally. Scroll down to the high performance clients link and get the GPU2 client.

Okay, I've got it installed. It crashed my CCC when I had it open with the F@H Display...and it made a hissing noise in my speakers.

Thanks guys!
