Lightbulb Comprehensive list of Folding@Home tools

I was browsing through the official Folding@Home forums and came across a long list of third party tools that complement the official F@H software. Some of the programs look extremely useful, and with permission of the author, I wanted to share them with you all. You can find them here. If you try out any of these tools, please post your experiences back in this thread. I personally like the look of FAHView.

My official favorite is FahMon. Check this out for more information on its features and uses.

I tried out two of the programs, FAHMon and FAHView. They both provide additional info when running the console version of F@H. Here's what the windows look like -

FAHMon takes up about 2.1 MB of RAM and is pretty slick. FAHView is very basic but ties into another program FAHServe, which monitors folding farms over networks (so you can keep up with all of your computers in one window). When I first ran FAHView, it used only about 500 KB of RAM. Once I restarted it, it gobbled up about 5.5 MB.

Anyway, for you console folks who like to keep better track of their work, these are a couple of tools that might be handy. Try out some of the others and post your results.

i just tried installing FAHView on a computer and its saying that it cant find the unitinfo.txt file. i installed it into the FAH directory just like it asked and its still not working. i took a screenshot and it shows my settings incase thats the problem. im planning on using it together with FAHServe, with FAHServe running on the computer im trying to install FAHView on right now and a couple other clients running FAHView.

I'm using FAHMon and it's awesome. I can keep track of farms across my network as well, it's a very good tool. ETA, Point Value, deadline, % done, it's got it all.

I'm using FahMon to monitor my 9 rig folding farm over the network and it works like a charm. You just gotta remember to share the directory that Folding@Home is in so you can access it over the network (or install it in the Shared Documents directory...)
