With all of the choices out there related to the folding project here on OCN, the staff has decided that a Folding Focus Group is in order.

We will be looking to get opinions from a cross-section of our folding@home team and OCN as a whole. We will select members from the following categories:

Group 1 | 10 million points or 50,000 PPD | All members [Still need to apply]
Group 2 | 5 million total or 15,000 PPD | 4 Members
Group 3 | 3 million total or 6,000 PPD | 4 Members
Group 4 | 1 million total or 500 PPD | 4 Members
Group 5 | Members who have folded but don't any more | 4 Members
Group 6 | Staff | 4 Members [In addition to Folding Editors]

Focus Group goals:

Get opinions from every type of folder
Make decisions regarding OCN's current folding program
Brainstorm new competitions and events

How to Apply:

If you wish to be a part of the Folding Focus Group, please PM me with the title "OCN Folding Focus Group [Group #]". Feel free to share a little information about yourself and why you are interested in contributing to the group.
If you wish to nominate someone, please send a PM with the title "OCN Folding Focus Group Nomination [Group #]".
We will decide at the end of October (about 2 weeks).

We will disband the Focus Group after the tasks at hand have been completed and a new Focus Groups will be created in the future. These groups will always represent you - the OCN folder.

Question, I can have about 17k PPD if all my rigs are running 24/7 but I choose to keep my main rig off mostly due to cost of electricity, does that qualify me for group #2, or are you going off of EOC's list?

I dont understand so well the group distribution, could you explain it please?

We go by actual production that you have now and what you estimate to have for the next few months.
