Help i would like to fold
Need a little help with this.
__________________I downloaded the client i am told i can use GPU or CPU to fold. I dont even know what i am using right now. My settings are default do i need to change something or do i just leave it running 24/7? I tried reading the faq but didn't tell me how to change from cpu to gpu or the other way around. And what should i do? gpu or cpu folding is better? Thanks

Usually the GPU client is better per performance. I haven't run Win SMP for a while so I'm not sure looking at the screenie what you are running. What program do you show in your program files?

Ok, what does your task manager show? How much of your CPU are you currently using?

The SMP clients take longer to complete work units than the GPU clients. You can run GPU console client on your 4850. One thing to know in advance is that ATI cards don't put out as much PPD (points per day) as nVidia cards.
