Thanks a lot for that explanation. I guess that seems like an obvious reason, but I was not aware.

Is there somewhere I could get an explanation on what tags are? Is that like a different version of the GPU2 client?

So I will get a newer version of the drivers and also see about a client for my CPU. Thanks for all the advice!

Val was saying she got better PPD with these drivers. I havn't tried them out myself, but if you want to give it a try, then go ahead.

If you decide to use the Flags here is what you do. You can use them one of two ways.

1) Right click on the Shortcut for your Folding application and select Properties. Then, click into the field that says Target, and go all the way to the right. Then put a Space and the Flag that you want to use.
It should look like this when you are done. WITH THE QUOTES.

"C:\Program Files (x86)\Folding@home\Folding@home-gpu\Folding@home.exe" -forceasm -advmethods -local

2) In the Configure>Advanced window for the GPU client, you can enter the Flags in the Additional Client Parameters field at the bottom.

Thanks a lot for this advice, I know it has been a while, but I finally made it to my moms house and the past 4 days I have had 2,200 PPD. A boost of 400PPD of my average 1800PPD.

I haven't tried the tag thing, but I think I will next month.
