Default Bad windows bad...
Kinda noticed today that a few days ago my folding rig wasn't folding. Come to find out as its restarting (couldnt get anything to come up on any screen), that even though i had win update turned off; it still installed some updates... and crashed ><

Not my sig rig. folding rig is running a vista install for some testing. I just never reinstalled server 2008.

But updates love to break stuff. worst one was it messed up my partition tables and i had to reinstall >:l

At least this fix was a hard restart.

We had an update at an office I worked at that invalidated all of our windows licenses.

>_< Lol ive had some experiences with XP and Vista where I had to call them to get my license validated due to an update breaking my validation. Im sure with more than 10 machines it would be fun especially when you get someone who just learned English last week.
