is good to heat up your house if you have the proper setup. hehe just kidding. pretty much is a project to find cures for a number of diseases. it is also a very good stability test for your computer and it could get kind of fun if you want to compete against others showing of how much points per day you can make.

it actually make my room really hot sometimes with the cpu and gpu at 40 degrees Celsius so in theory you could use folding@home as a heater

yea the stock XFX cooler on my 4830 is actually really good and keeps it as 40 degrees when folding but it is dual slot so instead of blowing all the hot air into the case is blowing it all into the room but IO only really notice it if I have my pc folding all day and it make get to 50 degrees if i have the door to my room shut

OMG just looked at you sig you folding on 2 Overclocked BFG GTX 285's wow that is o for orsome your case must be like a gas fireplace oh well hopefully one day I will have enough money for something like that... but for now the XFX 4830 keeps chugging along at 2300 PPD
