what to do?? which combination best - Overclock.net

ok. so in about 2 weeks or so, ill have a total of the following cards

1x 8800gts 512mb g92
1x 8800gt 256mb g92
2x 9800GT 512mb
1x 8800gts 640mb g80
2x 8800gtx 768mb

will have a pc power & cooling 1kw psu in secondary rig which uses a 680i.

its pretty much my folding machine > secondary rig.

so i found out i cant use the 8 series with my gtx260 [wonder if 9 series will work?]

current setup for folding is

main => gtx260 w/ corsair 750tx
secondary => 8800gts 512mb g92 and 8800gt 256mb g92 w/ el cheapo CM 550w

according to this i get about 16k ppd a day.

just hit 2 million mark, top 100 on the team. would like to do more if i can [until i become a physicians assistant] for the world xD [cant do much when im still a student].

my most ideal setup would be that i can throw the 9800gt's in my main rig on top of the gtx260 and fold on all of em + what i have in my secondary.. but in cases that doesnt work..

whats best combo for secondary rig? 2 9800gt + 8800gts g92? 8800gtx any good with folding? i know they are power hoggers tho.. =X

I would go with the best overclocking G92 cards you have.

For the second rig I'm thinking that the two 9800gt along with the 8800gt would be good since they all have the same amount of sp. I just don't know if the 9800gt overclock better than the 8800gt.

I'm not sure if the SP thing is such a big deal anymore since people say with new drivers it makes it a bit easier to use different cards.
