Nope, that's the sacrifice that some of us make to be able to participate in these competitions. I have 3 different folding names so that I can compete in both competitions and the rest goes towards my main name.

But we can run SLI cards and be capped on one? what's the difference? Makes no sense to me. That would open up so much more for both competitions. I'd be more than willing to run in the SMP comp and i'm sure i'm not the only one. People in the SMP comp would come to the GPU comp too.

...sli cards?...doesn't matter as long as you have one client per competition. You will never be able to run one client for two comps. You must run two clients one for each comp. And by doing that you are up for a $20 prize in each comp. If you could just run one client, then why even had two comps. Both comps have their place and both are fun, this specific rule is one that isn't going to change.

you may not get what i type but that ok u never do .

But running 2 cards in the same name?it could be done by running one card per name.

and alot of people dont want to part there PPD cause they loose spots in the team ranks, which is the only thing I see people avioding.

Like me i can use my 260 and my 285 for my name, but is not allowed in the comp so i run 260 on azcrazy1 and i run my 285 on azcrazy, i could of have both GPU on my main name which is AZCRAZY and get 15K, but i wouldnt be able to be part of the comp, so if i fold with 2 cards i have to use two names

he understands this, he was pointing out the fact that you can run one of each cards to each competition. Which makes a little sense know that there are prizes, but when there wasnt i dont see why they couldnt but ya

We need some more teams. I'm sure there are plenty of people with some GTX 2xx cards that fold. Some people have showed interest, but still no new teams. There is also a $20 prize per team member for the winning team, each month.

Anyone looking to get into the comp, I am selling my GTX260 with an Accelero cooler. Nets a cool 8-10K ppd OC'd to mid 1600s on the shaders!

I'm still looking for a team, but I have absolutely no idea how to start one

My card is in my rig if anyone wants to look; folding with a GTX 260 216SP, but will be out of commission until I get a pesky problem solved out (should take less than a day)
