Hey guys,
__________________So I'm leaving my college dorm to go home for the weekend, and was wondering if it would be safe for me to just leave my PC on with GPU2 folding client just to fold for 3 days? My sig rig is the system in question. My primary concern is safety, so can anything happen? I'm relatively new to folding. Let me know. Thanks.

Sure its safe. I do it all the time. As long as your temps are in check, the only thing to be concerned with is network security and as long as you have that covered, you're good.

Unless you have some sort of unstable overclock, I really don't think there should be a problem. Back up to stock clocks (if overclocked) to be on the safe side. If anything, windows might give you trouble if an update downloads in that time frame and forces a reboot on the computer. Perhaps if you turn off windows live updates for the time being everything might be ok.

Do you have a friend who could jump in and take a look at the rig just in case

My temps seem to be withing reason. I bumped up my GPU fan to 60% manually (3740rpm), so it seems to be in the 60's range, which is OK for my 4890. CPU seems to stay below 40C, with fan at max 2400rpm.

Oh yeah, I also toned down my CPU a bit to 3.2 GHz @ 1.325 vcore from my regular 3.5 @1.45 vcore. My GPU is at 900/1050MHz Core/Mem, up from 875/975 stock.

I left my sigrig folding for over 2 months unattended this summer when I went away for work. Never had a problem, I checked my stats once in a while to make sure it was still going. You'll be fine =]
