okay so these ppd numbers seem to be a little off
when I run Either GPU One at a time. each can produce around 7xxx PPD. But When I run both at the same time it seems one GPU always suffers a drop in PPD. common issue? seems unlikely

Are they OC'd at all? Some cards when pushed will cause the display driver to fail and it'll drop all your clocks by half. The one card dropping off like that could be the result of instability.

I see that too, seems like the gpu driving the display always shows a bit less in fahmon. (although fahmon is usually just close to what actually shows up in stats).

Download evga Precision and see if the second card is running at half clocks. If it is reboot the machine and see if it helps. That's the only way to fix the problem after it happens afaik.

that seems like a downclocked card speed. Or maybe you have something taxing going on that you havent realized yet?
another issue but very unlikely is are they both 216 or 192 SP models? mixing SP never works out for the better

i check the clocks on both evga precision and gpuz. they are both running at their default clocks.
may be it does have something to do with mixing the sp's. one is a 192 and the other is a 216.

then this should be the issue. you on 190 drivers? it supposedly fixed the issue but ive seen no success with my 9800 and 275 folding same time.

Yeah, the 190's have been a bit hit and miss for most people. The newer drivers (191+) seem to fix it for more people, but still not everyone. Worth a try to see if it'll work for you. 216 vs 192 might be sorted out in one of the current drivers.
