Gpu Folding SOS
My mobo has 3 pci-e slots 2 running as x16 one at x4 can i use 2 nvidia cards to fold without performance drop and for some time i may use one of these cards to increase phsyx performance is it possible ? if it is which nvidia card can give best performance at x4 thank you

You won't need bandwidth just for folding. x4 wouldn't affect a GTX295 folding.

Exactly what rpm said. People have but 295s in X1 slots by dremeling out the back of the X1 slot. It works just fine. Obviously, you will get the slightest PPD drop, and do not expect to game with it.

You can if you have the modded drivers for PhysX. Here's a link on how to set it up. I don't know if it's been done with 2 nvidia cards in the mix but one nvidia and one ATI has.
