Default (CLOSED)Prizes for Team 37726

With the rapid growth and amazing success of our Folding@Home team, we have revisited our prizes for top folders and have added some new and exciting prizes.

Existing prizes

The monthly prizes for top folders will remain the same -
$25 First place folder
$15 Second place folder
$10 Third place folder
$5 Fourth place folder
$5 Fifth place folder

We will also continue to provide a $5 prize each month to one random folder who has completed at least one work unit in that month and who has not won another prize.

New prize for the top new folder

Our team has grown by a factor of ten in the last year! In order to encourage that amazing growth to continue, we are now offering a prize of $10 each month. "New" will be defined as having completed your first work unit no sooner than during the previous month (e.g. for the June prizes, anyone who submitted their first work unit in May or June is eligible). Winners of the top five prizes are not eligible for this award.

Second chance prizes

All monthly prizes not claimed by the 15th of the month will be given away in second chance drawing(s). The number of prizes each month will depend on how much unclaimed prize money there is. Every active folder who appears in the top 1000 list on Stanford's site will be eligible for the second chance prize(s).

Overclock.net team folding prizes

In order to reward members who fold regularly but do not have the resources to compete with the "big boys" and to have some fun, we are starting a team competition within Overclock.net. The team competition will have the following rules:
  • Each team is required to have 4 members. You may form your own teams, or we will help find you teammates.
  • Each team will be limited to 8 CPUs total, and no individual team member may have more than 3 active CPUs. This competition is intended for the non-power folders, and we would like to keep the folding power of the teams to a reasonable level so that no one is too small to participate in this competition.
  • Each individual will fold under their own folding name and team 37726. We will tally the team scores and post updates on a regular basis.
  • At the end of the month, the winning team will be given recognition in their postbit and will retain bragging rights for that month. Other prizes will be awarded in the future.
  • For more information, please read this thread.
In order to compete, you must be an active member of the Overclock.net community. All payments will be made through PayPal. If you have not yet joined our team, please do so by going here.

I am a single folder but started to post some very solid marks...
Am I elligible? I am folding around 20 continous and an additional 10 or so part time. That said I can add more.
