Wait, so it had to downlaod a wu? How big are these, and will they be deleted when finished. I have 500mb left on my hdd. And im folding, but it says 0/12500 frmaes finished. Whats wrong?

With only 500 MB left on your drive, I expect that you'll have issues with virtual memory and other such things before you have a problem with folding. The only files of any size that remain on the computer is the download of the cores, which can vary from 2 to 10 MB. Each core only gets downloaded once, however, and there are a fairly limited number of cores. My F@H directory on this computer (at work) is well under 20 MB, though I would expect my home computers to have a bit more space devoted to folding since they've been at it longer.

As for the 0/12500, that WU likely updates once every 1%, so check back after a while to see if it incremented.

I have the console version running and a graphical version atm. the console version says completed 0 out of 5,000,000 steps. Is this ever going to change? or will it not work due to the graphical version running? i want to set it up quick before i got to bed!


EDIT: NM! it skipped up 5000 steps in 1 go lol. ok its cool. Bed.
