Hi guys, I've decided to start folding as its for a good cause. My question is: How much internet cap does this use when it uploads and downloads the info? I live in South Africa and internet isn't free, so I have to be careful of my cap usage, but I really wanna help.

How often does it upload and what the average size?

EDIT: To answer my own question (and anyone who has the same question)

Put simply, no. The uniprocessor clients use up to 10MB each way at their normal settings (assuming use of v6 clients), but most computers if run just during the day will only finish a Work Unit every 2 or 3 days. Over a 30 day period that is an absolute maximum of 300MB (if a WU is completed every 2 days, so 15 WUs at 10MB each way), or well within any usage cap. Most Work Units are far smaller than that limit anyway, and the v5 and v6 clients can be set to limit Work Unit downloads to 5MB each way.

So far its only used up 2mb on mine (its been a day) so I don't think it uses a lot of bandwith.

Its using a lot of CPU power though.

Quick question...

I went ahead and dl'ed the Graphical version just for the heck of it, but I'm wondering how I get the SMP version?

I have an Intel Core2 Quad Q6600, as you can tell, so why won't it give me a link to dl? Because of my 7600 graphics card?

The reason I ask is because this thing isn't taking hardly ANY power, only like, 24% (Obviously lol)
