Question.
I downloaded it, but it doesn't look very appealing, like it just sits in the tray and when u hit tray it just shows the molecules.. it thought it showed information on the side of the display and you could change what it looks like, like you can on the ps3.

Answer.
the gpu client has a fairly pretty front end (and generates higher ppd), but (so far as I know) you can't change the display, and showing the display uses gpu cycles which could be used for folding, so I don't think anybody looks at it.
be sure to put team 37726 in your config, join the team, get the postbit when you reach the top 1000

here is a link for GPU folding, the GUI is identical to the CPU client (and that doesn't say much)

though I don't know what kind of output you will get, I think its highly based on ROP(s)

EDIT: maybe someone can help me, I have 4 computers now folding for folding@home (used to be with worldcommunitygrid but didn't like it too much) and 2 of the computers work fine but the other 2 just kinda hover around 0/"X amount" on the tray. Both these computers are P4s and they can be found in my Systems profile.

If you want your folding post bit, you need to be in the top 1000 folders, and you need to post in the check in thread. Welcome to the fold.

This has been asked many times before. I don't believe that the University is going to want to foot the bill for the electricity. But if you want to try to convince them, good luck. If you go to the Folding at Home website, they have alot of facts and info that would help.
