Thanks... Yeah, I never "really" read the competition rules closely, before cappy's hard drive failure... I did a once over, quick glance and no more. However, shajbot has one of his extra rigs rig folding until cappy gets back on line. I don't know if it's 24/7 though, but no matter, I can't help team Folders Inc... I already have 3 rigs going. You will see 4 however, this week... Sorry about that.

I think the team has a total of 7 maybe 8 going. 455buick - 3 / cappy - 1
shajbot - 2 and peroxide 1 (he says 2), but Stanford doesn't show that.

Folders Inc will never be "the" top team.. But that's ok. What we lack in Folding power, we make up for in friendships and relationships... That's way better in my opinion.

Thanks, 455buick. I'm setting it to Deadlineless WU's, but as I've had rather bad experiences with things dialing out themselves, I'd prefer to not let it connect to the Internet without me. BTW, is the "due time" in the unitinfo.txt the deadline for my WU? If so, I have plenty of time, since it says october 9, and I'll be finished in less than a week (storm->fried pc=>don't leave the computer on when gone).

No problems and I'm glad I could help. As for the due time. I believe that is correct. The WU estimates its completion time and when Stanford should receive it.

As for dial up. I know what you mean. I've tried it in the past with limited success. The WU will try to connect or upload your completed WU when it's completed. I've seen it make about 10-12 attempts and then quit. When you do log in or dial up again, it will send the completed information. It may take a little while for the FAH program to re-activate itself and download, but it will do it.
As for strom ==> fried computer. Yeah, been there and done that! I turn off my stuff now. I have 4 computers in the house, with 3 folding 24/7. I don't want to loose the very valuable equipment. I've loss some time with doing this, but I'd rather have that, than replace burnt parts.

When I got my second one it says its going take about 2,550 days to complete the 500 frame WU
My first work unit was 1000 frames and it finsihed in about 24 hours Whats going on?
