i am running the gpu version too near the smp, but whats the gpu2 any benefits while running with smp ?

i just joined the OC Team today, i've got a 2.0 Core 2 Duo CPU, will my laptop run SMP version without an issue? and where do i get that version?

The SMP version is on the beta page. Just click on the little red icon on the bottom of the first download page. If you can meet the deadlines, and your temps aren't too bad, there shouldn't be an issue

There is a difference in power consumption between idle and load. There will be a higher cost in electricity because the computers are under load vs. idling.
