*Sorry for another post but I'm on my PSP*

You might also want to consider using Notfred's VMware for folding on the CPU. There's an easy guide on the site. It would net you more points than your current client.

And make sure you join this month's Foldathon (check the sig).

FAHmon:
http://fahmon.net/download.html

is a program that lets you monitor your Folding.

There is also FAHspy (which I prefer - google the name).

cheers

Here is a shot of my desktop running the GPU client on my GTX275 and running two virtual machines both using Ubuntu set for 4 cores folding.

FAHspy is open showing the points per day at this instant (depending on the work units I'm averaging between 10,000 and 12,500 per day with this computer).

Hope this helps!
cheers

p.s. I tried running 3 VMs but the performance split on the other two and gpu offset anything gained by the 3rd one.

What I haven't tried... but mean to try soon is to setup 3 VMs assigned to 2 cores each (I tried all 3 VMs set to 8 cores).

Not sure if it'll get any more ppd or not...

Also, my machine is a stock 920 - not overclocked at all.

if your f@h is sleeping you may want to right click on the FAH icon in your system tray, go to configure, and in the window that pops open click on the tab connection and see if you have the "ask before using network" checked of, if so just uncheck it and you should be good to go. whats hapening is its completing an asignment and then waiting for your input to allow it to fownload and continue, so by unchecking that box you allow it to do so automatically.

if you downloaded fahom, what you want to do is click on clients...add new client...give it a name any name, and in the location section you want to put the location of your log file for fah. for this i right clicked on the f@h icon, status, and then log file. I copied the soruce file and pasted it in the location directory of fahom. then i hit ok and it loaded up my progress for that project im doing.

I hope this helps, if u need anymore help or clarification just ask

That box is unchecked.
