Never actually tried it myself, but if it has a CPU it should be able to fold Probably wouldn't be worth the electrity for the points though.

The best folding is done with graphics cards though (8+ series Nvidia and newer ATIs). It's much faster and gives better output than CPU folding.

And yeah, this site is the best

Oh cool. So then, my 9850 rig with 2x8800GTX+s and my 720BEx4 w/2x9800GTs and the rig i'm about to build with 550BEx4 and 2x5770s would all be good candidates?

I will try to get some machines online soon. Thanks so much for the info

Yeah, you can take a look here for PPD rates. ATI doesn't perform as well as nVidia at the moment, but that could change soon.

Will Folding@Home work well on a server with dual Xeons (each HyperThreading, so 4 threads), but no GPU? It will be running Linux.

Yep. You're best bet is using the Unicore/SMP client for Linux from here.

Just create multiple folders since each client uses 2 cores.
