Sorry about quality. I know its not that best but I think it still it pretty cool.

Tryed to add a bit of an art effect to this one to take away a bit from the blur but it didn't help much.

Hi steveo,

I've been thinking the same thing over the past few months. With your post I've tried several different programs and made several different attempts at a clean, un-blurred desktop back ground. Unforntunately I've had no success. Perhaps admin will place a good clean desktop icon, overclock label somewhere, where folks can copy it and set it to their desktop resolutions.

What we/I really need is a photo of the label and icons, etc..

Sorry I can help you, :-)

I will whip up something cool in AutoCAD after work. My avatar is a screenshot of the flame model I made. I'll do a red cog wrapped through it tonight. It'll be up to someone else to add the text and that. I'm only good with modelling.

I thought this turned out pretty well. I'm somewhat partial to minimalistic designs, so this is what I came up with. Let me know what you think. Also, I'm not sure if we're able to use that "Folding @" logo, since it's lifted from the Standford site. If there's a problem, let me know and I'll fix it. Enjoy!!

As many have requested, I did a couple other versions with alternate backgrounds. They're here:
