I know neither of the main admins play counterstrike enough to notice all the complaints but they need to be voiced as the server is in dire need of some attention. The map update was a freakin joke and now only about half the maps are worth playing because the rest are plain horrible (small city, autumn) or their too old to still be fun (battlefield, texture city). Also the fact that it's been without a server rank for about 5 months is ridiculous and that needs to be fixed, there isn't a popular server out there that doesn't tell you how many wins you have. Admin activity is nominal, at least we have nullwolf on console some of the time, but crazy9000 is really the only one who's on there a good amount of the time as a player, i put in 15-20 hours a week and almost never see anyone unless it's the two i already mentioned. Please fix this sever so it'll be as popular as it was a year ago when you couldn't even get a spot at prime time.

If you find all the "bad" maps, maybe you could make a poll in here and see what people think about them, then we could see about removing them. I think alot of good maps were added with the new ones, such as tex city summer and the new natus. It's really hard to please everyone with maps, but if everyone really doesn't like the map I'm sure it can get taken off (I can understand smallcity lol).

As for all the issues with wins and stuff, I think they were waiting for the next version of gungame to be out. If you know a decent and compleatly working version of gungame, by all means link it and it can probally be given a shot.

if you set up 24/7 Dust 2 and/or office with some stats the thing will be full all the time. i used to rent a few and the dust2 server was full all the time.

You see the problem is, everytime OCN has tried a "competetive" normal server, it's fallen flat on it's face.

The other CSS server currently is a Dust2 Deathmatch, and nobody really liked it lol. I think one problem is that's about the noobiest it gets on CSS (lol), and it's also only 16-slot.

So to get the ideas flowing, is there anything besides a boring 24/7 D2 or Office server? I know those may get some random noobs playing, but really there are thousands of those servers, I think it would be better if OCN was a little more unique lol.

I was actually under the impression we were going to change the dust2 into a scout server (with more scout maps then just knivez), but it's been months and never happened.

It doesn't need a competitive server, all it needs is a 32 slot public server, with the basic stuff, 16k, mugmod, knifesyphon.
