I just got banned from the 32man Gun Game server for Counter Strike Source under the name [OCN] XFreeRollerX.

I have a feeling it had to do with my avatar which is an attachment, as someone said something regarding the character drawn in my Avvy. I asked what was wrong with my avatar and some time later (2 minutes?) I was kicked and banned.

Weather this is a permanent or short term ban, I feel cheated as I never even recieved a warning, I had been using this same spray since day one of being on OCN server, which was when I built this desktop about 3 months ago!


Now if I did happen to just 'slip by' for these months with an avatar that was inappropriate, then can I have some freakin sympathy because I spray it all the freakin time and nobody said anything to me!!


Now if I got banned for something else, I am baffled. Was not doing anything wrong at the time the mod was there, unless it was for a previous 'inappropriate language' violation (I apologized..) but there was a different mod/admin at the time.


Small explanation at the very least is requested. I'm rather sad that I got banned from OCN GG server as the guys here are really fun to talk with while playing...

Well Im chatting with one right now, however I am unaware of who banned me, or WHY WHY WHY! This is what is killing me! WHY!

Im gonna throw DP a PM but most of the admins im told to contact have not been active for several days

and this is one of the last weekends Ill have free time before finals come up

I suggest you send a PM to BigVal or DigitalPhreak, or if you know the admin that banned you, PM him first. I wasn't in the game @ the time so I don't know the details, and I've never seen you get in trouble for the spray before...

This has happened to me a couple times. (not at OCN servers), but at other games, and it's just not fair. That's prolly what's buggin' him. He did nothing wrong and to be banned for no reason is just brutal, especially if you game at a server everyday for a couple hrs a day.

It's the principle behind it. Trivial or not, the ban was uncalled for..

Crazy9000 has gotten back to me.

It was because of my avatar/spray.... Pretty lame IMO, and he says I was warned several times, which I am honestly saying I did not read/see/ notice. One member verbally said "Ban flanders spray" And I asked "WHY" several times in a row. 30 secconds after that I was banned.


The ban was for 60 minutes so Ill sit through it, however, I feel cheated and rather insulted... 3 months of having that spray around and I remember a couple of moderators laughing at the freakin thing saying it was funny because of how I used it -_-

Whatever, rules will be rules... 60 minutes go by.

how is that in any way offensive? that's all i really want to know. there is no profanity, no vulgarity, only thing i find offensive is that it's a poor drawing of flanders. oh well, sorry it happened to you FreeRoller.
