Sorry for the confusion, I have made it clear in the OP by adding the (DD/MM/YY) next to the dates and by adding the "Competition Duration: 2 months"
![]() Bench away!!

What's considered "top" CPU-Z score? Is it highest MHz? Most % gained?

It is in MHZ as that is what HWBot goes by
![]() These prices aren't really to cover for costs but used as an incentive. If you are already using it then it's a nice little bonus ![]() Also, you can enter in more then one category so in the end you could end up taking more then just a $25 or $15 prize

1) I am not a member of HWBot.
2) My CPU is not the best of overclockers... the best I have been able to suicide so far has been 3400 MHz with a 2800 MHz stock for a measly 21%. (Unless it messes up. Crystal CPUID says my stock is 1800 MHz. OCCT v2.1 says I stock at 5000 MHz. So who knows?) Looks like I am out.

![]() This is the best way to go about it unless we do individual competitions, but that is not something that we have in mind here. Perhaps, your Q6600 club would like to do something like that ![]() Do your best is all that I can really say. There are ways around certain issues (disabling cores is one for instance)...

Hi, i'm Barry Scott!
![]() |
Shouldn't the competition be highest FSB mhz? Otherwise the 45nm chips will dominate.
Using a FSB would give a level playing field between different CPU's, although quality motherboards will still prosper...
